Considering going solar at your home or business? There are several contractors right here in the Santa Clarita Valley that can help.  Shopping local for solar power will not only benefit the environment, but our community as well!  Visit the State of California’s Go Solar program to view a list of approved solar retailers and installers. Also, take a look at the solar calculator and additional resource below:

The City of Santa Clarita encourages using local installers and retailers of solar photovoltaic systems but does not endorse any of the listed sellers. Presence on the list does not guarantee the company will accept work everywhere within the Santa Clarita Valley.

While some retailers MAY hold a contractors license, not all do. Make sure your installer has the proper license. You can check the license status of the contractor or installer on the full description page of the company via the California State License Control Board website.

Calculate your Potential Savings: This simple tool will help determine the potential annual savings to your electric bill by going solar.  Just enter the address of your home or business to see how much you can save.

Additional Resource: When deciding which solar company works for you, take a look at Solar Tribune. They have developed a guide comparing local installers based on cost data from the California Energy Commission, customer satisfaction data and independent ratings.
